Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Product Marketing to expand our reach and drive our marketing efforts forward through focused product marketing campaigns and sales enablement. This role requires a mix of analytical thinking, creativity, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments.
To be successful in this role, you need to be adept at both strategic thinking and tactical execution, with a strong understanding of the customer journey and how to influence it at various stages.
This is an exciting opportunity to be the first product marketing hire at a high growth, category creating startup. You will have exposure to all aspects of the business and be given the opportunity to build what will be the marketing foundation of the company. You will report to the VP Revenue, but will collaborate across all other teams and executives directly.
In this position, you will...
- Develop and refine the product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audience and differentiates our products in the market.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for new products and features, working closely with cross-functional teams including: Product & Engineering, Credit, Finance, Sales, and executive leadership.
- Utilize market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify market opportunities.
- Create compelling sales enablement and training materials to empower the sales team.
You have...
- 3-5 years of experience in product marketing (5+ years preferred) in the B2B SaaS startup space.
- Experience owning product marketing at a startup through it’s early growth phases (i.e. Series A and/or Series B).
- Ideally, strong experience and proficiency leveraging the tools in our marketing tech stack: Hubspot, Klaviyo, Webflow, etc.
