Director of Product Marketing

As Director of Product Marketing, you will lead the strategic positioning of Dataiku’s DSS globally in order to drive Dataiku’s value proposition in market to current and future customers. The ideal candidate has deep experience in product marketing (specifically supporting data or analytics products), experience in developing effective sales enablement materials, and has led product marketing teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop year-long marketing plans including defining the Product value proposition and frameworks, and drive articulation of product positioning through campaigns and content as aligned with the Company's marketing strategy
  • Manage, lead, and develop team of individuals
  • Orchestrate the ideation and creation of all product related campaigns/initiatives along Dataiku persona of reference
  • Strategize and drive relationships with Industry Analysts
  • Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers, sales, and competitive offerings
  • Work in close collaboration with Dataiku's Competitive team to continually ensure product differentiation and competitiveness 
  • Identify internal and 3rd party research needs to support product positioning and go-to-market plans
  • Assess market needs and opportunities for solutions through primary and secondary research to define market requirements and desired positioning while collaborating with Product Management to align product strategy and roadmaps to the market needs
  • Establish KPI's for all of your team’s efforts and track performance to ensure marketing plans are delivering expected business outcomes


Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years directly relevant experience in B2B Product Marketing management positions
  • A proven history of shaping product marketing strategy 
  • Passionate about effective processes for managing the product life cycle
  • Experience building and leading product marketing teams toward a big picture vision
  • Clear understanding of user growth and engagement tactics
  • Strong executive presence and ability to clearly discuss and communicate product value and benefits
  • Experience developing and nurturing a team of Product Marketers
