Director of Product Marketing

Remote (United States) Chicago, IL

LogicGate is a SaaS company with a mission to empower every organization with the technology they need to proactively manage and transform risk into strategic opportunities. We’ve recently secured more than $100M in Series C funding to help us get there, but we also need collaborative, curious, and self-driven team members as we continue to disrupt the wide world of GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) with our G2 Grid top rated GRC Solution, LogicGate Risk Cloud.

We’re headquartered in Chicago yet have embraced a distributed work culture with employees in 25+ states. Unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at the LogicGate office, our team members are able to choose the best working style for them whether that be in the office full-time, fully remote, or a hybrid of both. We’re already a top workplace in Chicago (just ask Built InCrain’s Chicago Business, and the Chicago Tribune), and we’re thrilled to bring our culture nationwide.

About the role

As LogicGate’s Director of Product Marketing, you will lead a team of product marketing professionals and play a key role in LogicGate’s growth and industry leadership. If you’re passionate about understanding buyers and telling interesting, compelling, and relevant product stories, we’d love to talk with you!

You’ll report to our CMO and represent the voice of our customers and the market, drive adoption of our offerings through product launches and go to market strategy development, and partner with our sales, alliances, and customer teams to drive customer growth and retention. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to become an expert in our industry landscape, and be super effective at building go to market strategies–translating product features and benefits into materials that move our sales, customers, and LogicGate brand forward.

You and your team will help create go to market strategies to drive interest and preference for our platform; deliver high-value content that attracts, engages, and educates prospects, customers, and industry leaders, as well as high-impact materials and insights to help internal teams understand and properly position LogicGate and our offerings in the market.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Leading an existing team of high-performing Product Marketers, and partnering with other Marketing team members as well as with Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams to drive product and feature awareness and adoption among prospects and customers
  • Owning the market intelligence program, including persona & buyer journey insights, competitive program & partner landscape, and win / loss analysis
  • Creating go to market strategy for our key products and feature releases, including audience research, launch plans, competitive analysis, enablement strategy
  • Working with content, campaigns, and customer marketing to build and place product content in the right channels for the right audiences
  • Creating clear, interesting, and persuasive product messaging that differentiates LogicGate and conveys our value
  • Partnering with sales enablement to educate our internal teams on how to best position LogicGate with prospects, customers, and partners
  • Working closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to best understand and measure which assets are most effective in driving deals and customer adoption
  • Once you’re ready, you’d be part of LogicGate’s bench of industry experts who speak at events, with analysts, in deal cycles, or in support of our PR strategy

We get excited about you if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing or product management in a B2B SaaS environment, preferably in the GRC, Cybersecurity, Compliance, RegTech or related industries
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. We’ll ask to see samples of your writing as part of the interview process
  • The ability to coordinate complex projects, such as product launches and go to market planning
  • Experience leading a team or have done a lot of “leadership by influence”
  • You’re a natural storyteller and understand the interplay of words and visuals to simplify and articulate complex concepts
  • A passion for working with sales teams, product teams, and other marketers
  • Bonus points - you understand the needs of our buyers, especially information security, risk management, and compliance professionals

What else is in it for you?

Competitive salary, stock options, and benefits are just the beginning. Our Total Rewards Package is designed to support you both in and outside of work. We offer various programs to help you grow your career, including an Emerging Leaders Program and a Continued Education Budget ($1,000 per year per employee). LogicGate aims to nurture a work environment where our teammates feel safe coming as they are, and we offer Employee Resource Groups, regular trainings, and conversations meant to foster a sense of belonging. Outside of work, offerings like generous PTO, Summer and Winter Fridays, and Health Days give you time to recharge and relax. Working with our team of 200+ might just be our best perk, though, because you’ll be working with smart, passionate people who are helping take LogicGate to the next level. Not too familiar with GRC? That’s ok—a lot of us weren’t when we were in your shoes either. Here’s what you need to know:

  • GRC stands for governance, risk management, and compliance
  • GRC professionals help their companies manage uncertainty, act with integrity, and stay on the right side of the law. Bottom line: they keep their companies on the right track.
  • GRC is a huge market, and growing fast. Not only is it a $35 billion industry today, it’s predicted to grow to $64 billion by 2025. This is what we’re going after!

We are currently working on becoming compliant with new regulations in Colorado. Until we are able to do so, this role cannot be performed in Colorado.

LogicGate is dedicated to creating a community of diverse professionals, as we believe this creates a strong sense of belonging which ultimately enables our business to succeed. We are passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces for all those who come through our doors! We’re proud to be an equal employment opportunity employer who does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, religion, veteran or military status, or any other protected status.
