Developer Product Marketing Specialist

Remote San Antonio, TX

We’re looking for someone who can help us tell the story of the power of Filestack and how our solutions impact developers. You’ll be responsible for key aspects of go-to-market, own the messaging and positioning for Filestack products, and orchestrate marketing execution across campaigns, social media, customer programs, and more. You can synthesize complex product capabilities into succinct customer benefits.


You must be able to generate high-impact ideas, prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Success in this role will require strong working relationships and interactions with internal teams and with customers.


As a member of the Filestack marketing team, you will be part of a fast-moving group that is constantly looking to learn and accelerate results.


The Role

  • Develop messaging and marketing initiatives that align with our target buyer personas
  • Build and operationalize the way we deliver new product releases to our customers
  • Work closely with product teams to promote launches and ensure current and new products are positioned effectively in the market
  • Craft messaging and positioning for future releases
  • Work closely with cross functional stakeholders in product, engineering, and sales to drive growth projects forward
  • Design beautiful web pages that are built to convert while adhering to branding, SEO, and CRO guidelines
  • Manage site SEO strategies and content optimizations
  • Create, maintain, and evolve visual design guidelines for Filestack
  • Write compelling copy for product promotion across a variety of channels and outputs – including web copy, email, and social media
  • Collaborate with the external teams and developers on improving website user experience and troubleshooting errors
  • Maintain and communicate project milestones effectively and anticipate potential risk or challenges

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant product marketing experience
  • Experience working in a growth oriented marketing team
  • Strong written communication skills
  • You have experience writing compelling B2B or SaaS product copy for the web
  • You have experience channeling the voice of the customer to convey value
  • Strong design capabilities for the creation of product marketing materials
  • Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools
  • 2+ years experience in design and content creation
  • Understanding of web technology trends and responsive design
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to work with web developers and implement designs
  • Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles
  • Good understanding of web accessibility design principles
  • Excellent visual design skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to ideate as well as execute a range of marketing assets (including web, email, and social media)
  • Ability to own and execute multiple ongoing projects on a daily basis
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, HubSpot, and CMS, Wordpress
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong command of digital acquisition campaigns, a passion for testing and adapting quickly, and an interest in the developer space
  • Ability to keep up with industry trends, with a perspective on the developer landscape
  • Independent/self-starter - ability to execute and implement change
  • Goal oriented naturally motivated to reach goals
  • Previous experience in a SaaS environment
