We're looking for a content marketing manager to create customized narratives and content assets for Figma's corporate customers. As a team member, you will report directly to our B2B Growth Marketing Director. Your main responsibility will be to support our product-led sales strategy by creating and prioritizing important stories that generate potential customers, captivate our executive audience, and increase sales at every stage of the process. As a founding member of this function, you will have the exclusive chance to create and develop from scratch and contribute to our most profitable channels at the business.
The ideal applicant for this position will possess a strong enthusiasm for storytelling and the skill to effectively combine product tales with Figma's brand language and thought leadership viewpoints. This applicant will have strong opinions on how content marketing at Figma can effectively engage our B2B audience and expand our demand generation activities. In addition, the candidate should possess knowledge on how to effectively educate clients about the benefits of higher product tiers and be capable of working with various product SKUs.
This position is available as a full-time function and may be based either in one of our US hubs or worked remotely within the United States.
At Figma, your role will involve establishing the framework for implementing B2B content marketing strategies.
• Develop and implement the main themes for quarterly integrated demand generation campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with our field marketing, product marketing, and executive team to create presentation narratives and scripts for our events.
• Recruit and oversee writing contractors or agencies to produce both long and short-form assets that support our sales strategies and generate effective leads.
• Form partnerships with collaborators to jointly create narratives that help Figma expand its reach to new audiences and markets.
• As a demand generation channel, establish a systematic approach to measuring and reporting content performance.
• Foster strong alignment with our sales team, providing them with the necessary tools and support for content campaigns and programs.
If you possess any of the following, we would really appreciate your input:
• Over 6 years of experience providing support to B2B and sales departments in collaboration with demand generation teams • Demonstrated success in creating concise and persuasive narratives across various platforms
• Proficient in developing executive presentations (narratives/talk-tracks) for events and webinars • Proficient at meeting metric-based goals for a content channel
Although not mandatory, it is advantageous to possess the following:
• Proficient in implementing product-led growth funnels that encourage adoption from end-users and engagement from top-level buyers.
• Proficiency in product marketing, customer marketing, and/or developer marketing; • Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-product settings
